Hey gorgeous! I learned about an amazing experiment done by Dr. Marsaru Emoto, a Japanese researcher who examined what frozen water would look like under certain positive and negative conditions.
He projected different thoughts and words onto his water and then examined the results.
What he discovered was the water that had thoughts such as “love” or “joy” formed beautiful patters while those infused with negative thoughts like “hate” or “anger” were rough and opaque. Crazy, right?
This makes me think that if our bodies are 75% water how could our own thoughts be influencing the water within us?
And ultimately, how was this shaping our actions and even our perspective onto the world? After looking further into this study I discovered that Dr. Emoto called this phenomenon the “Hado Effect”.
Looking at Dr. Emotos research reminds me of the significant importance of our words and thoughts. To me it seems to prove that our thoughts have a physical effect on our bodies and our external world. There are many spiritual thinkers who have told us about the power of gratitude lists, affirmations, prayer, meditations, setting positive intentions.
So if you weren’t convinced from just a philosophical perspective maybe the research proves it even more…
