What are you really passionate about?  If you could say anything without worrying about judgment or criticism, what would you say?  How would you say it?

It occurred to me that although I share my opinions freely, I tend to keep what’s in my heart tucked away and safe from the world.  Silly isn’t it?  It’s actually very common and I’ve realized I’m not the only one out there who does it.

Okay, so I’m in good company but I don’t want to be there anymore.

How do you let go of this urge to keep your heart secret and safe?  Do you need to start slowly with baby steps (one sentence at a time) or do you just throw it all out there?  A little discretion is obviously a good thing and it is also important to look at why you want to share.  If you were to ask me why I would like to share directly from the heart I would say that it is a way of honoring and showing gratitude towards myself and life.

I believe that there isn’t a right or wrong, black or white way of living.

I also know that what I believe now will probably change again and again and again.  This tells me that it’s not so much about the message as it is about the delivery.  I have been inspired by so many people and it isn’t always because of what they say.  It is because of how they said it.  I was inspired by those people because they had the courage to speak from their heart without worrying about judgment or criticism.  This could quite possibly be the reason we are here – to be unapologetically and completely ourselves.

So… say what you want, say it often and enjoy it!
