In today’s busy world it’s hard to stay focused on your dreams and stay true to what you want.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed thinking about how quickly time is passing by – where the hell did the month go and how is it already halfway through summer?!

Even though I have the best of intentions to build my business, record online videos and create products galore – you might just find me in my garden for hours instead.

Why? Well, because I’m totally afraid.

I’m looking for any and every distraction possible so I don’t have to put myself out there and be subjected to potential criticism or failure.

Does that sound like you too?

Do you have dreams and goals that you have big intentions to accomplish but when it comes to the day-to-day work you are not following through?

Yep you guessed it, the biggest saboteur of our dreams – is ourselves.  But the good news is that you are also your own biggest motivator too!

4 Simple Steps to go from Procrastinator to Action Go-getter:

1) List the Activities

Identify the things that you want to do that you have been putting off. What actions/ activities will move you along your life path towards your dreams? (Create a List)

2) Be Aware of Discomfort

Notice the discomfort you feel when you think about doing those activities.  What resistance and feelings surface when you think about doing it?  (Create a List)

3) Ask, Which is Worse?

Ask yourself, what’s worse – not working towards you goals or feeling this discomfort as you move forward?  Close your eyes and imagine each option to notice how you truly feel.  (Write it down)

4) Take Action

Once you have your answer – now take the appropriate action to move forward with more peace and self-awareness.  Regardless of what your answer is, at least now it was made consciously…

Most choices are motivated to either avoid pain or seek pleasure but unfortunately following your dreams is not going to be pleasant all the time (especially in the beginning).  Being uncomfortable is just part of the journey…

But, it’s so fricken worth it!
